The Racine Coalition Against Human Trafficking has a growing list of supporters, and among the youngest are the Stalman kids---8-year old Xander, 9-year old Cece, and 13-year old Patrick, who held lemonade sale fundraising events, and presented their $154-dollars during a recognition at the Racine Police Department. Chief Art Howell gave all three official uniform patches, and other items, while thanking them for getting involved against a serious problem in today's society. Beth Stalman said the kids got more interested after she and her husband would come home from coalition events and explain some of the general reasons behind them
Coalition leader Karri Hemmig (pictured) said in addition to the kids, mom and dad Stalman have also played a big role in the group's efforts:The Stalman kids are planning more lemonade fundraising activities this summer, with dad building a bigger, permanent stand, and mom noting Cece wants business cards.
