(WGTD)---Details are still sketchy, but as many as six people may have suffered overdoses at a single location in Kenosha. One person is dead.

The Kenosha Fire Dept. says four rescue squads were dispatched to 8817 17th Ave. late Monday night. Four patients were transported to two hospitals.

Kenosha Police say that a 52-year-old man who was tied to that call was pronounced dead at an area hospital. What's being officially classified as a death investigation is underway.

The Pleasant Prairie Fire Dept. confirms that it transported a woman suspected of overdosing. She was found in the 2500 blk. of Springbrook Rd. at about 1 a.m.

The Springbrook Rd. address is about a mile from the duplex where the initial OD call occurred.

Late Tuesday, the Kenosha County Opioid Task Force put out a news release saying that particularly potent illicit drugs were circulating in the area. If users can't abstain, then they should at least be aware of the heightened danger, the group said.
