KUSD Principal Facing Misconduct in Public Office Charge

A criminal complaint has been filed against a Kenosha Unified school principal. 39-year-old Cherise Easley is due in court on January 29th to face a charge of misconduct in public office. According to the Kenosha News, she is accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of items from the Edward Bain School of Language and Creative Arts. Investigators reportedly found some of the items in the Milwaukee church she attends---and---in the daycare she and her husband run in their Milwaukee home. She has been on leave from her Unified position since the end of October.
