(WGTD)---Kenosha Unified reversed itself Wednesday and will allow a murdered Bradford student's friends to stage a memorial at Friday night's football game. Kaylie Juga's former cheer team members will be allowed afterall to wear special t-shirts, hold her picture and perform a cheer in her memory. A one-line statement from the district indicated that KUSD Superintendent Sue Savaglio-Jarvis and Board President Dan Wade made the decision to reverse a position that had been taken the day before. The district had said it couldn't sanction the memorial because it would set a precedent by doing so. The district said it had consulted counsel before acting. Over 500 comments condemning the district's position were posted on the Facebook page of Kaylie's father. One woman called the district's position heartless and insane. Kaylie Juga was shot and killed and her mother wounded allegedly by Kaylie's ex-boyfriend.
