Mt. Pleasant---Police have released a security camera image of a man who robbed the Community State Bank on Washington Ave. early Tuesday morning. They're asking for the public's help in locating the subject. The man implied he had a gun and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Racine---A 17 year-old Milwaukee boy is facing a slew of charges for allegedly participating in a ten day-long crime spree that targeted four auto dealerships. In Racine Court Wednesday, bond for Javon V'Dillie was set at $10,000. According to the criminal complaint, V'Dillie confessed to being part of a crew that broke into the dealerships then stole several vehicles. V'Dillie, however, would only identify his accomplices by either their first names or nick names. V'Dillie was arrested in Milwaukee after police found V'Dillie to be in possession of the keys to one of the stolen vehicles.
Yorkville---The woman who died in a two-vehicle crash in the 1500 blk. of S. Sylvania Ave. Tuesday afternoon has been identified as 87 year-old Evelyn Goebel. Her 85 year-old husband suffered serious injuries and remains hospitalized. According to a news release from the Racine County Sheriff's Dept., a 21 year-old Kenosha County man failed to yield the right of way while turning. He's been identified as Aaron Turner.
