Local News: Cycle-related Fatals; Charges Pending in Accidental Shooting

Town of Randall---Authorities have yet to identify the 41 year-old Kenosha County man who was killed late Sunday afternoon when his motorcycle left a curve on Highway P. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A few hours later in the City of Kenosha, a pedestrian was struck by a motorcycle and killed while walking across 22nd Ave. near 62nd St. The motorcyclist fled the scene and at last report is still being sought. The victim was described as a man in his 70s.

Town of Bristol---The Kenosha County Sheriff's Dept. is recommending that a 72 year-old Illinois man be charged with negligent handling of a firearm for an incident that occurred over the weekend at the Conservation Club of Kenosha County. According to a news release from the department, the man was trying to clear a malfunction in his shotgun when it went off, striking a victim who was some 20 feet away. The 64 year-old man was taken to a Milwaukee hospital with serious injuries to his abdomen.
