Mount Pleasant---That employee of the Mount Pleasant Public Works Department who was hit by a car Monday afternoon has died. He has been identified as 61-year-old Dan Huck---a 22-year-veteran of the Village’s Sewer Utility. According to a police press release---Huck was standing outside of his truck---wearing reflective clothing---when he was hit near the intersection of Green Bay Road and Shirley Avenue in Mount Pleasant about 1 o’clock in the afternoon. He was transported to Froedtert Hospital by Flight For Life. The 55-year-old female driver of the car who hit him was cooperative with investigators. Alcohol is NOT believed to be a factor. The investigation continues.
