Moving Stories Told by a Couple of Racine County Foster Parents

One of the most difficult things about being a foster parent is having to say goodbye.

Speaking recently on WGTD’s Morning Show, two foster parents explained how they deal with their emotions when departures are imminent.

Stacy Scott and Emily Mullens also told other moving stories about their experiences as foster parents.

The occasion of their Morning Show appearance was the ongoing campaign by Racine County to recruit additional foster parents to cope with a growing need.

Despite the occasional challenges, both women described foster parenting as very rewarding, not only for themselves, but for their biological children as well.
