The Milwaukee-based band Semi-Twang---led by John and Mike Sieger from Kenosha (they're wearing the hats in the band photo)---returns to "Noon Tunes" the week of June 19-23. The band serves up a combo platter of rock 'n' roll---country rock---and----Americana pop. The lyrics to two of the songs you will hear on "Noon Tunes" were written by Michael Feldman---a former Kenoshan---who found fame and fortune as the host of the public radio show "Whad'Ya Know?" Feldman has been a songwriting partner of John Sieger for quite awhile. Included here is a link to---perhaps---the best song on their 2011 "Wages of Sin" CD---the title track. "Noon Tunes" airs Monday through Friday---around 12:20pm--- as the last segment of the WGTD Midday News. WGTD is at 91.1FM in Kenosha and Racine---101.7 in Elkhorn---and---103.3FM in Lake Geneva.
