If you were planning on attending a performance of the Racine Theatre Guild's production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" but still hadn't picked up tickets, you're too late.
RTG announced Tuesday that this weekend's final two performances have sold out, as did all of the previous shows in the extended four-week run. "For us, a sellout show means that the arts are alive and thriving in Racine," said RTG marketing director Joycelyn Fish.
Typically, RTG doesn't decide to add performances until the run begins. But in this case, Fish says, interest was so high that this weekend's performances were added before the opening curtain.
This weekend's performances will end the RTG's 79th season.
The 80th season begins July 14-23 with "Always...Patsy Cline." It'll end next May with another blockbuster musical, "Sister Act."
