Kenosha---A pedestrian was struck and killed while apparently trying to cross I-94 in Kenosha County early Thursday morning.
The victim was identified by the State Patrol as a 36 year-old Milwaukee man although the Kenosha County Sheriff's Dept. says he was from Burlington.
The incident happened in the south bound lanes between 142 and 158 at about 3:00 a.m.
It’s not known why the man was in the traffic lanes—no stalled or parked vehicles were found nearby.
No one in the S-U-V that struck him was hurt.
South bound traffic was diverted onto the frontage road for several hours.
