(WGTD)---Most of the We Energies customers who lost power as the result of a major outage in Pleasant Prairie, Kenosha and Bristol Monday morning have had it restored. The remaining customers are expected to be back online by nightfall.
We Energies said about 3,100 customers were affected by the outage at it's peak. It was caused by a utility pole fire that apparently was the result of today's rain mixing with splashes of road salt that coated the pole.
In Racine County, much smaller outages affected a handful of people in Caledonia and Mt. Pleasant.
