Caledonia---An alleged neighborhood menace is behind bars.
47 year-old Michael Bernhardt is being held on a $10,000 bond on several drug and computer-related charges.
According to the criminal complaint, one of Bernhardt's neighbors called police after discovering that Bernhardt had been taking photos of her family and reposting them with lewd comments on his Facebook page.
The complaint says Bernhardt has a history of displaying harassing behavior, including revving the engine of his motorcycle on a daily basis in his driveway. The woman who called police had previously placed bubble wrap on one of her windows so Bernhardt couldn't see in.
Police arrived and found Bernhardt standing in his garage near a lawn chair and laptop wearing nothing but a robe. After purportedly getting Bernhardt's consent, an officer went inside the home to retrieve a pair of pants for Bernhardt. That's when the officer came across signs of a suspected marijuana growing operation in the basement. 23 pot plans were confiscated.
