Racine County Agencies Hit the Road to Help

With the skills shortage ever present, Racine County is using a modified carrot and stick approach to push people up the job ladder.

Representatives of the county's Workforce Solutions and Human Services departments are joining forces and going on the road to explain the myriad of programs and services the two agencies have to offer.

First stop: The Mt. Pleasant Police Department's COP(Community Oriented Policing) house on Mead St. Feb. 7th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.  "We are going where the people are and we will work with participants to build on their strengths and overcome barriers," said Mark Mundl, Racine County Workforce Solutions Manager.

Anyone is invited to drop in.
