(WGTD)---In a press statement released Friday, Racine County Executive Jonathan Delagrave revealed that he contracted COVID-19.
Delagrave says that he began experiencing symptoms and went to a drive-thru community clinic for a free test. He has since been working from home in isolation.
The statement doesn't make clear when he was tested or for how long he has been isolated. Delagrave says he is expected to make a full recovery. In the statement, Delagrave urged citizens to take advantage of free community testing and to follow CDC guidelines.
Racine County has the highest positive COVID-19 test rate per capita in the State.
