A minor traffic stop turned into a felony drug bust in Racine earlier this week. On Tuesday night 25-year-old Christian Olvera---from Chicago---was pulled over on I-94 near Highway 20 for deviating in a lane of traffic and following too closely. The Racine County Sheriff’s deputy smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the car---and---while searching the car he located two large bags of marijuana concealed in a bed quilt that was in a clear zippered bag. The bags had just over two-pounds of marijuana which Olvera said he was transporting to Milwaukee. He is being charged with felony possession and intent to deliver.
