Rebecca and the Grey Notes on "Noon Tunes" September 26-30

The Milwaukee-based band Rebecca and the Grey Notes make their "Noon Tunes" debut this week with songs from their self-titled 2015 CD. They are a cover band---but---they also perform a lot of original material. From Etta James to Alison Krause---and---from The Byrds to The Beatles, Rebecca and the Grey Notes offer a unique style covering blues and jazz as well as old country and rock.  You can listen here to a sweet cover of the Skeeter Davis and Herman's Hermits hit "The End of the World." The band is: Rebecca Famularo on lead guitar and vocals; her father,m Tyler, also on guitar and vocals; Mike Juley, who used to head up The Milwaukee Journal sentinel's Racine Bureau, is on bass; Jeff Franks on drums.
