Record Warmth to be Replaced by More Seasonable Weather

A historic stretch of warm weather has ended in southeast Wisconsin but not before an all-time winter record was set.

In Milwaukee Wednesday. a high of 71 was recorded.

That's not only a record for the date, but it's the warmest winter day ever, or at least since 1871 when statistics started being kept in Milwaukee. Up until Wednesday, the warmest winter day on record was December 5th, 2001 when the temperature hit 68.

Winter is poised to make a quick return.
