(WGTD)---Racine Unified's long-term facilities referendum squeaked by with a five-vote margin.
Long-time Racine School Board member Dennis Wiser lost to challenger Scott Coey. Wiser is a former teacher while Coey currently teaches at Bradford High School in Kenosha, although he obviously lives in the RUSD district.
Kenosha School Board members Dan Wade and Yolanda Santos-Adams hang on to their seats, beating back two challengers in the at-large election.
Kenosha County Board incumbent Michael Skalitsky lost to Sandra Beth, mother of Kenosha County Sheriff Dave Beth. Another incumbent, John Poole, lost to Sharon Pomaville in a race that wasn't decided until the early morning hours. .
