(WGTD)---The audience for Saturday's recount of votes cast in the Racine Unified's facilities referendum will be capped at 125, according to Unified spokeswoman Stacy Tapp.
Observers who attend the event--to be held at roomy Festival Hall--will have their temperature taken as they enter and will be required to wear a mask, she says. They will also be given and need to wear nametags.
Petitioners and their representatives will get first priority to be in the hall.
Four people petitioned for the recount. The referendum appeared to pass by just five votes.
Tapp says the district is planning to stream live video of the recount on its Facebook page.
It's not known how long the recount will take.
