House Speaker Paul Ryan's Republican challenger in the upcoming primary is mincing no words, calling Ryan a "liar" and demanding that he pull a TV ad that began running this week. On a downtown Kenosha street yesterday afternoon, in front of about two dozen supporters, Paul Nehlen said the ad, in which Ryan calls for new immigration laws to protect Americans, does not reflect the Speaker's record. Nehlen said Ryan's record shows he actually supports open borders. Talking briefly to reporters following his statement, Nehlen said he supports banning all immigrants from the U.S. unless they can be properly vetted, saying the current system of checking those entering the country is inadequate and puts Americans at risk.
