Racine--A man was fatally shot while sitting in a vehicle on the city's north side Monday evening, according to police and unconfirmed scanner and social media reports.
Police said the shooting occurred in the 1700 blk. of LaSalle at about 9.
According to a news release, police were summoned on a report of shots fired and found a victim who was deceased.
According to social media reports, people in the area heard a handful of gunshots.
No other information was released.
