Small Firm Moves to Wisconsin In Hopes of Cashing In On Foxconn

A small business has moved to Kenosha from Illinois in hopes of securing a contract from Foxconn that’ll allow it to grow.

International Mold and Production is a supplier of custom plastic injection molds and parts. Len Koren founded the company in Grayslake, Illinois in 2003.

Now he’s renting space just south of the former Chrysler Engine Plant site off of 60th St.

Most of the company’s work is currently contracted out. But Koren, who’s already in contact with Foxconn representatives, hopes the company will add 25 employees of its own in the coming years with Foxconn work.

In a news release, the governor’s office said that the company will be eligible to receive up to $100,000 in state income tax credits.
