A Racine native is returning home to stage a one-woman show. 35 year-old Rachel McPhee is the daughter of Norm McPhee, the retired artistic director of the Racine Theatre Guild. Rachel McPhee has achieved critical acclaim with a show she’s performed for several years now in and around New York titled, “Dead Shot Mary,” a story that focuses on the exploits of the Big Apple’s first female detective, Mary Shanley. McPhee will be performing four shows at Racine’s “Sixth Street Theater” from Thursday through Saturday. Greg Berg spoke with Rachel McPhee and her husband, Robert Benson, on a recent Morning Show. Benson wrote the play. Click here for the full program.
