A third hard-to-explain death has occurred at an area yacht club.
The body of an 80 year-old Janesville man was pulled from Lake Michigan at the Racine Yacht Club early Saturday morning, according to the Racine County Sheriff's Dept. No foul play is suspected.
The man was a slip-holder, according to the department.
In July, a 42 year-old man drowned in the Root River at the 5th St. Yacht Club. The man's body was discovered the day after he was to have gone to a boat docked elsewhere on the river but never showed up. Police did not suspect foul play.
Then in early September, the lifeless body of a Kenosha woman turned up on a Friday evening in late August in the harbor channel near the Kenosha Yacht Club. Although taken to the hospital with a pulse, Tami Brague was pronounced dead several days later.
At last report, police were awaiting the results of toxicology tests and have released little information surrounding the circumstances of her death.
