South Haven, MIchigan---The body of a 59-year-old Racine man who went missing while fishing on the city's north pier last month washed up on a beach in South Haven, Michigan this week. He's been identified as Daniel Sprecksel. His family reported him missing on October 13th after he didn’t return home and some of his fishing gear was found on the pier unattended. The Racine Medical Examiner told the Journal Times that Sprecksel had a relative who lived near where his body was found in Michigan and that person went to authorities after hearing news reports about it. That gave investigators an immediate lead and his body was quickly identified.
