The man who died during an armed robbery at a Culver's restaurant in Madison has been identified as a Twin Lakes resident, 56 year-old Christ Edward Kneubuehl.
Kneubuehl had been working on a remodeling project at the restaurant at about 3 a.m. Tuesday when two armed and masked robbers walked in.
Madison Police Chief Mike Koval says Kneubuehl apparently suffered a fatal heart attack. The robbers, he said, wouldn't let Kneubuehl's co-workers come to his aid.
The workers were held captive for up to an hour.
