Pleasant Prairie police are investigating a possible murder/suicide that happened last night. According to a press release---Pleasant Prairie Police responded to an apartment in the 8600 block of 82nd Street---just before 10:30 Monday night---for a report of a possible shooting. A witness reported hearing an argument coming from an apartment before hearing what sounded like gunshots. Upon arrival---officers forced entry into the apartment and found a 39-year-old female and a 49-year-old male. Both were dead---and---both suffered from apparent gunshot wounds.
While still under investigation, police believe that this incident poses no danger to the public or to those living in the area---which is just southeast of Pleasant Prairie Fire Station #2 and St. Anne’s Catholic Church off of Highway H. Names of the deceased individuals are being withheld pending notification of family members.
