(WGTD)---Two girls were killed in a collision between a SUV and an empty tanker truck in Whitewater Thursday evening.
According to the Walworth County Sheriff's Dept., the SUV, towing a camper, made a turn in front of the truck at the intersection of Highway 12 and Walworth Ave.
The driver of the SUV was identified as Kristina Wilken, 44, of Waterford. Her 14-year-old daughter, Kaylinn, was killed.
A front-seat passenger was Michael Koelsch, 42, of Boise, ID. Olly Koelsch, one of his twin 7-year-old daughters, was also killed.
Wilken, Koelsch and the other twin were all taken to local hospitals. The extent of their injuries wasn't known, according to the department.
The driver of the semi, 56-year-old Allen Guthrie of Elkhorn, wasn't hurt. The semi wound up in a ditch.
