Update: Murdered Nun Was Former St. Joseph High School teacher

A nun---who taught at St. Joseph High School in Kenosha in the 1970s---was one of the two Catholic nuns stabbed to death in their Mississippi home yesterday. 68-year-old Sister Margaret Held---who has been a member of the School Sisters of Saint Francis for 49 years---was one of the nuns killed yesterday according to a spokesman for the order. The other nun has been identified as Sister Paula Merrill of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. The two nuns---who worked in a health clinic in rural Mississippi---didn’t show up for work yesterday---so---a co-worker went to check on them and found their bodies. Authorities suspect robbery was the motive.
