Here's something you don't expect to see roaming the roads everyday in Somers, Joey the Kangaroo. The Kenosha Sheriff's Department was called to the 7500 block of 18th Street on Friday in Somers after a loose animal was reported. The animal turned out to be Joey the Kangaroo. The kangaroo escaped Jerry Smith's Pumpkin Farm by purportedly kicking through a gate and continued west on 18th street.
Good news; Joey is safe and sound and back on the farm.
