A major east-west route through Pleasant Prairie goes under major construction starting on Monday. Highway 165---from I-94 east to Green Bay Road---will be resurfaced---and---the portion of the road from Corporate Drive---which is just east of the Interstate---to Terwall Terrace---by Lake Andrea---will be expanded from two to four lanes. That part of the construction project includes rehabilitating the existing bridge over the Des Plaines River---and---adding a second one to accommodate the lane expansion. Long-term---single-lane closures will be in effect in both directions. The $8.2 million dollar project won’t be finished until next summer.
