Getting our Lake Geneva translator station back on the air is taking a little longer than expected.
Our tower service--scheduled to reinstall our antenna and transmission lines on the water tower in Lake Geneva where they once were--was called to Appleton to deal with an emergency related to Monday's storms.
We took 103.3 FM off the air in mid-May in order to accommodate a repainting project.
For our Walworth County listeners, the Elkhorn translator (101.7 FM) remains active, and actually overlaps part of the 103.3 signal from Lake Geneva.
As usual, WGTD is available online at wgtd.org, via the free WGTD app and over the air in the greater Kenosha/Racine area at 91.1.
