Kenosha---Authorities have identified the woman who was found floating face down in the harbor channel Friday evening as Tamara "Tami" Brague.
The 58 year-old Pleasant Prairie woman was pronounced dead early Sunday morning, and police are investigating.
Brague, her husband, Dale, and another individual were said to have been boating Friday and dropped the victim off at the Kenosha Yacht Club, then went to dock the boat elsewhere, police spokesman Lt. James Beller said Tuesday.
At some point, Tami Brague wound up in the water.
A fisherman was the first to spot the woman's lifeless body against the harbor channel wall just south of the Yacht Club.
Mr. Brague, a mechanic with the Kenosha Fire Dept., told onlookers that had gathered that he'd been looking for his wife.
A man jumped in and pulled Tami Brague to dry land while others started performing CPR. She was taken to the hospital with a pulse, police said Saturday, but was pronounced dead on Sunday.
The Brague's were members of the club, Beller said Tuesday.
Investigators are trying to piece together a timeline and determine just how it was that the victim may have slipped into the water seemingly unnoticed. Part of the investigation includes examining security camera footage in the area, Beller said.
Brague's LinkedIn page indicated that she was a manager at Powerbrace Corp.
