Gateway Search; Former LakeView Tech Academy Building Gets a New Tenant; Wirch Office Hours

Mar. 17, 2026 5:30p

From WGTD News:

A pool of 64 applicants for the position of Gateway Technical College president has been narrowed down to a manageable number for initial interviews. The school says the ad-hoc committee that's in charge of the process will conduct those interviews on an unspecified number later this month. The plan is to cut down the list even further, leaving a small number of finalists who'll then be invited on campus for interviews. The finalists will be publicly identified. Gateway Board chair Jason Tadlock says the board is gratified that the process has drawn high caliber applicants from across the country. The winner of the search will replace Ritu Raju, who left Gateway last year.
